In conclusion film trailer uses many conventions that reside in the horror genre for example, use of a mask to hide the main antagonist (although we have varied the type of mask used), use of a last/ young girl as a main protagonist, the use of teen stock characters within a film that is trying to appeal to a teen target audience, our themes are also conventions of horror films (violence/death, captivity, trip gone wrong.)
